Bee’s Story

Bee Sykes,
International Career &
Expat/Repat Transition Coach

Hi ! I’m Bee Sykes, nice to meet you.

My decision to become a professional coach dovetails between personal experience and a desire to help parents find the best version of themselves. I am an English mother with 20 years expat experience relocating between the UK, Ireland, Germany and America. My husband and I have three daughters aged 6, 7 & 8 and two bouncy Bernese Mountain Dogs. We relocated to Ireland in 2011 when my husband was offered a career opportunity with Google.

In 2013, I volunteered to support Google families relocating to Dublin by organising meetups, sharing local recommendations and tips to help them settle. I found myself lending a listening ear as families talked about the obstacles they were facing in their transition and so the coaching seed was planted. I later founded Families Go Global to include all families relocating to/returning home to Ireland.

I studied coaching at the Irish Lifecoach Institute and hold credentials in Life, Career & Relationship coaching, I’m an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and an International Career Coach with the IMPACT Group. Energised by learning and helping others, I am now studying Psychology and a student member of the British Psychological Society.
