Sat 20 January @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
Fresh Air & Incredible Views
Fancy joining us for a family walk?
Ticknock Recreational Park is located a short drive from Ballinteer/Dundrum/Sandyford. The walk is up hill and buggy friendly with views over Dublin at the top. Bringing a snack or flask of soup or something warm to have at the top is recommended. We will walk to the top of the hill and back down (approx 45 mins – 1hr), but anyone with older children can extend the walk to up to 3 hrs if they wished to walk the Fairy House Loop.
How do I get there?
From the city centre, head for Marlay Park via Rathfarnham. Passing the main entrance to the Park on your right, turn right at Ballinteer St.Johns Clubhouse and, following the road around the edge of the Park, turn left at the Taylor’s Grange junction onto the R113. Take the second turn on the right and this will bring you to the entrance to Ticknock forest.
Please use the car park facilities provided and do not block local resident’s access along the public road.
We will meet in the top car park at 11am and your host Bee Sykes (085 234 7747 – bright blue rain coat) and Mercedes Ortega will be there to meet you. Simply RSVP so we know to look out for you.
*** Please note this meet up is weather dependent and may be cancelled if weather is bad. If you RSVP we will be able to keep you notified ***
